Next Door Solutions Announces New Executive Director
The Board of Directors of Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence (NDS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Esther Peralez-Dieckmann as Executive Director. NDS recently celebrated its 45th anniversary and is well positioned to intervene in the cycle of violence and change community norms so that systemic and broader social change can happen. “We are looking forward to Esther Peralez-Dieckmann joining our agency,” said Melissa Hollatz, Chair of NDS’ Board of Directors. “After an extensive search, it was very clear that her expertise and passion for women’s issues, her vision for raising the visibility of the issue of domestic violence and her commitment to cross-sector collaboration would inspire the staff and engage the community as we enter the next phase of NDS’ evolution.” The selection of Ms. Peralez-Dieckmann to head the agency reflects NDS’ desire to continue to build its efforts to create paths for women to achieve safety and self-sufficiency.
Ms. Peralez-Dieckmann has extensive experience with the County of Santa Clara, heading the Office of Women’s Policy for the past 12 years.
