For 25 years, I've worked to end violence against women and girls, specifically in the area of domestic violence. I believe my experience gives me "street cred." I want to talk, listen, argue and agree with different kinds of folks.

This blog stems from my belief that we will end this social scourge only when we know and understand why domestic violence exists and persists. I'm asking our community of bloggers to learn enough to create change. It can happen and will happen if we work together.

Occasionally, my staff will also post news items on this blog. Posts not written by me will include the author's name.
